We can hardly believe we are halfway through August. We feel like we blinked and the summer has come to an end, but it's not over yet! We are going to squeeze every ounce of fun out of the rest of the summer days. If you are looking for things to do while the sun is still shining, we have you covered!
Pack up and go camping. You can head out to the backcountry, mountain top, or the beach. Any spot you choose will provide breathtaking views and memories to last a lifetime. Don't forget to pack hotdogs and s'more snacks for roasting over an open fire!
Take to the sky and enjoy a sightseeing tour of Denali. Fun fact: Denali is the highest mountain peak in North America!
Drive down to Homer and enjoy a staycation and walk the homer spit. You will find all sorts of fun knickknacks from local shops and great eats around the area.
Get out on the water Alaska has more than 40% of the entire nation's surface water resources which means we have a lot of water. You can kayak, fish, go for a boat ride, or even just enjoy a swim. The possibilities are endless!
Enjoy the midnight sunsets. One of our favorite things to do is sit back relax and appreciate the views of this beautiful landscape we get to call home.
We hope you give one of these activities a try this week and savor every moment we have left of this summer!
