We are back sharing a few more of our all-time favorite recipes for the summer! I mean is there really anything better than catching fresh fish, filleting them, and throwing them on the grill? Give a few of these a try and tell us which one is your favorite!
Simple Garlic and Onion Rub
1/4 cup dried onion
1/4 cup garlic powder
1/4 c salt
1/3 c paprika
1/3 c dried basil
Olive Oil
Take your salmon and apply a bit of olive oil to the flesh side and cover with the rub. Making the rub is easy all you do is combine all ingredients into a bowl and stir! Heat the grill and place salmon on the grill and cook 5-10 minutes per side until salmon is well done and flakes easily. Cook time will depend on how thick your filet is! Remove from heat and enjoy!
Lemon- Garlic Salmon
2 teaspoons grated lemon zest
1/2 teaspoon lemon juice
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon pepper
1 1/2 garlic cloves minced
Wrap salmon filet in tinfoil and add all ingredients to the top of salmon. Close tinfoil around the filet and add to the grill. Cook until you can easily flake the salmon with a fork and Bon apatite!
Cedar Plank Salmon
Cedar planks
Salt and freshly ground black pepper
5 tablespoons Dijon mustard
6 tablespoons brown sugar
It is very important that you soak the cedar planks in salted water for a few hours before placing them on the grill. Remove the skin from the salmon filet and then rise fish and pat dry. Generously salt and pepper the salmon on each side and then apply the brown sugar mixture. Place cedar plank on the grill at medium heat and cook thoroughly about 30 minutes. Once cooked you can serve this delicious meal right off the cedar plank to preserve the flavor! Yummy!
