Are you planning a Labor Day BBQ this weekend? If so, you are in luck! We are sharing our all-time favorite recipes. We hope that you give one a try this weekend.

Appetizers

· American flag veggie tray. Add a splash of blue food coloring into your veggie dip and place it into a square bowl in the top left-hand corner of your veggie tray. Then alternate a row of sliced cucumber and whole cherry tomato into a stripe pattern. This simple appetizer is sure to be a favorite.

· Red, white, and blue deviled eggs. These are so simple and look fantastic. Place a dozen eggs into a pot and cover with an inch of water, bring to a boil. Once water is boiling turn off the burner and cover. Remove eggs from heat and let the pot sit for 15 minutes. Cook eggs completely before cracking and removing the shell. Slice your boiled eggs in half and remove the yokes and place them into a bowl. Then take 1 cup of hot water, a tablespoon of distilled vinegar, and mix in some food coloring either red or blue in a separate bowl. Place eggs in the food coloring and let sit until vibrant. (Typically 1-2 minutes) While your eggs are soaking you can mash up your egg yokes adding desired spices for flavor. Once your eggs are done soaking and yokes are mixed you can squeeze the yoke back onto the egg to complete. Place on tray alternating red, white and blue.

· Red, white, and blue fruit kabobs. These are so much fun we just love them! Grab kabob sticks and slide on your favorite red white and blue fruit. We enjoy using strawberry, banana, blueberry, grapes, and watermelon. You can even cut the watermelon into stars for a little extra pizzazz!

Mains

· Hot dogs, but not just any hotdogs you have to add all the fixings. Make sure you have chili available if someone wants a chili dog. Chicago style? Sure! All you need is onion, ketchup, mustard, pickle sphere, and relish. You can even make cheese dogs all you need is some American cheese to add on top once the dogs are fully cooked!

· Hamburgers, we all love the classic hamburger add some bacon and cheese and everyone will be happy this holiday weekend!

· Slow-cooked pulled pork sandwich. These are delicious and pretty simple to make. All you need is a slow cooker, time to prep the day before, and a few special ingredients. 1-3 pounds of boneless pork (typically the shoulder) and one twelve-ounce can of coke. Place the meat and coke in the crockpot and cook on low for 8-10 hours. Once fully cooked remove and shred up the meat and serve with your favorite BBQ sauce!

Desserts

·  Firecracker popcorn! This is such a fun dessert to have at your party. Pop your popcorn and place it on a cookie sheet. Coat with melted white chocolate and sprinkle with cherry pop rock candy. Make sure to work quickly you want to do this before the chocolate hardens. If you can find red or blue star sprinkles you can add those in too!

· Red, White and Blue cupcakes. Bake up your favorite flavor cupcake and frost with red white or blue frosting. An easy we to make colored frosting is to simply add food coloring to vanilla frosting.

We hope that you have a fabulous Labor Day weekend!
